چکیده

Background and Aim Image registration alignment are the main limitations of augmented reality (AR)-based knee replacement surgery. This research aims to decrease error, eliminate outcomes that trapped in local minima improve problems, handle occlusion maximize overlapping parts. Methodology Markerless image method was used for AR-based surgery guide visualize surgical operation. While weight least square algorithm enhance stereo camera-based tracking by filling border right-to-left direction non-border from left-to-right direction. Results study has improved video precision 0.57–0.61 mm error. Furthermore, with use bidirectional points, is, forward backward directional cloud point, iteration on decreased. led processing time as well. The frames 7.4–11.74 per second. Conclusions It seems clear this proposed system focused overcoming misalignment difficulty caused movement patient enhancing AR visualization during reliable favourable which helps eliminating error ascertaining optimal rigid transformation between two points removing outliers non-Gaussian noise. accurate navigation anatomy such femur, tibia, cartilage, blood vessels so forth.

Augmented Reality Visualization for Laparoscopic Surgery

We present the design and a prototype implementation of a three-dimensional visualization system to assist with laparoscopic surgical procedures. The system uses 3D visualization, depth extraction from laparoscopic images, and six degree-of-freedom head and laparoscope tracking to display a merged real and synthetic image in the surgeon’s video-see-through head-mounted display. We also introduc...

Augmented Reality Visualization for Guidance in Neurovascular Surgery

In neurovascular surgery, and in particular surgery for arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), the surgeon maps pre-operative images to the patient on the operating table to aid in vessel localization and resection. This type of spatial mapping is not trivial, is time consuming, and may be prone to error. Using augmented reality (AR) we can register the microscope/camera image of the patient to pr...

Building Performance Visualization Using Augmented Reality

Magnetic motion trackers have been widely used for tracking user head / hand pose information owing to their advantages such as size, occlusion-less tracking environment and high sample rate. Yet, issues such as latency and jitter leave magnetic tracker technology unfavorable as compared to other tracker technologies. While latency is due to tracker hardware employed, jitter is due to magnetic ...

Augmented Reality Enhanced Image-Guided Surgery System Using CT and Ultrasound Registration for Brain-Shift Estimation

In neurosurgery, brain shift, usually caused by the gravity or the changes of intra-cranial pressure, is the main factor to affect the accuracy of tumor removal. To deal with this problem, an imageguided surgery system which corrects the brain shift from the preoperative CT images by using intra-operative ultrasound images is presented. First, with reconstructing 2-D free-hand ultrasound images...
